The purpose of the Hospitality Management program is to prepare students for entry-level employment or further skills advancement in the hospitality industry based on the American Hotel & Lodging Association and American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-Conference for Food Protection (CFP) standards. As part of the service industry, the hospitality sector includes both accommodation and food services establishments because the two activities are often combined at the same establishment.
