Password Information
South Suburban College has recently deployed a password self-service tool to help you reset your College login password on your own without the need for assistance. With this tool, you can manage the password that you use to log in to College supplied services, such as D2L, email, lab computers, and Office 365.
Enroll yourself using the SSC Password Reset page. Enter your College email address in the Username field. Enter your College supplied password in the password field, and then click on Login. Agree to and accept the short user disclaimer, and then click on “Click here” to begin the enrollment process. You will be asked to choose and answer three security questions. This is how we will verify you in the future, so please choose questions that someone else would have a hard time guessing. When you are done, click on “Next” to continue. That’s all there is to it. Once you have completed the process, you can go back to the SSC Password Reset site at any time to reset your password on your own if you accidentally forget it or just want to change it.
Need Your Password
You can receive your password by visiting the Office of Admissions (Rm 2348) on the main campus with a valid photo ID. If you have a secondary email address on file with the college you can just call the Office of Admissions (708-210-5718) with your username or student ID number to have your password sent to this secondary address. You can also use the online resend password form. An email will then be sent to the secondary email address on file.
